• Exalted update: An effort to get all the second edition's errata together in one place & choose which version of those updated rules to use when multiple authors issued contradictory updates. Exalted as a franchise has moved on, issuing multiple new editions since the convoluted updates of second edition. As a result, finding a cohesive version of the game from then is difficult, necessitating this effort.
• Wan Xian: A fan-run Kindred of the East project. This version has more comprehensible game mechanics presented with the notoriously culturally insensitive lore aspects stripped out.
• Abberant: This was the pet project of the same guy that came up with Vampire: the Masquerade, and is quite a different franchise. The world's politics changed in the 1990s because a small number of humans who would have been killed in accidents inexplicably survived because they manifested supernatural capabilities that intervened. Because of the cultural influences of comic books, many Americans responded by trying to become spandex-clad vigilantes. Much of the gameplay has to do with how governments would behave if humans could just randomly become impossible to impose order upon.
• Æon: Sharing a franchise setting with Aberrant, this is a scifi game that takes place 200 years after the events of Aberrant. The human species has figured out how to cope with supernatural issues, and has spread to off-world colonies. There are alien species in contact with us, trying to play out their own various agendas. As scifi franchises go, this is gritty and live-in, like Shadowrun, but otherwise tends more toward Star Trek than Star Wars.
• Scion our first edition house rules: If you've ever read anything from the Percy Jackson franchise, you're acquainted with Scion. This roleplaying game has the same general idea. The game mechanics for Scion were based on Exalted and Aberrant, but were iterated upon in much the same way a new edition would. This seemed like the easiest way to incorporate real world celebrities into a game as N.P.C.s, so of course a Scion campaign was a necessity. This is a "barely tried" game system for us.
• Pathfinder our first edition house rules: Everyone tries Pathfinder. We mostly used these rules for attempts at long-running story-focused games, which is a type of game for which Pathfinder isn't the best system. Regardless, here's some content.
• The Laundry Files R.P.G. supplemental content: A roleplaying game based on the series of dark urban fantasy novels by Charles Stross. Those novels are in turn based on the works of noted author H.P.Lovecraft. In the setting for The Laundry Files the evil things from beyond reality only access our world in meaningful ways if there's a living mind to act as a conduit. Unfortunately, every computer is close enough to a living brain to allow just such a conduit. The players portray government employees trying to delay the public's knowledge of horrors best left unknown.
• Immortal: Invisible War: The premise is that human minds have a strange effect where they put any spiritual being they encounter into a human-like body. The world is full of spiritual creatures (some good some bad) that are stuck in flesh. When you leave Earth, either by going to outer space or a a spirit world, you are the spiritual being instead of a human. The players' characters are spiritual beings that sided with humanity against lovecraftian horrors, and are now stranded on Earth.
• Melded Vampire system: There was a multi-decade gap between the third ("revised") edition of Vampire: the Masquerade and the beginning of the fourth ("V20") edition. During that gap, this was an effort to update third edition. Now that the fifth edition is obsolete I can't imagine anyone would want this unless the authors were running a game with the old rules and setting.
• C°ntinuum and Nªrcissist supplemental content: This is a much-forgotten roleplaying franchise that is on the verge of becoming lost media. The game's fictional setting has similarities to the "temporal cold war" arc of Star Trek: Enterprise and to the Traditions/Technocracy conflict in White Wolf Game Studio's franchises. Two vast empires, one in our prehistory and the other in our future, have developed time travel. Now they're at war, and both want to use our era as a sort of no-man's-land buffer between their civilizations. As a result, they are independently trying to police changes to what they see as the "correct" version of our current events. This makes for good intrigue and adventure fodder.
